I am a highly experienced Australian Super Yacht Captain and Operations Manager spanning 30 years of luxury yachting. As a family man with a young child, I am now offering shore-based management as part of my services.

I have over 85,000 sea miles logged in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, Bahamas, Windward & Leeward Islands of the Caribbean, USA East and West Coasts, Mexico, Pacific Central America, and the East Coast of Australia.

Accustomed to both charter and private yachts, I have a thorough understanding of the intricacies of yacht management and operations. Additionally, I have extensive refit management experience on various projects costing up to $12 million, all of which were delivered successfully on time and within budget.

Currently based between Australia and the UK, I am now offering yacht management, owners representation, refit management and consulting, alongside my ongoing Captaincy services, for select owners. I am experienced in travelling internationally for work and remain open to relocating globally for the right opportunity with a management company or yacht owner who values long-term commitment and a strong work ethic.

Yacht Management

As a yacht manager, I will act as the designated person ashore for all communication regarding the yacht. I will ensuring the efficient operation of the vessel./s, including but not limited to, voyage planning and itinerary coordination, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations​, crew recruitment & leadership. budgeting for maintenance/operational expenses, optimising cost-efficiency.

My extensive experience as a captain, along with a sharp eye for detail, has proven invaluable in this sector of yachting.

Refit Management

I work closely with the owner to understand their vision for the refit. We assess the current condition of the yacht & identify potential problems. We then develop a detailed scope of work. and create a realistic timeline for the refit. I oversee & coordinate all aspects of a yacht refit including planning and budgeting to ensure the project is completed on time and within the set budget. Acting as the owners representative and liaising between the shipyards, and other contractors, i ensure the project meets the owner's specifications and expectations.

I am available for freelance yacht deliveries, charters and annual leave relief as a captain on vessels up to 45 meters. I am available to travel internationally for jobs, and remain open to short and long terms opportunities worldwide.
