I delivered this yacht from Port Douglas to the Gold Coast over the period of a week. I project managed the dry dock refit and 10 year survey to prepare the yacht for sale. Cook Islands-registered commercial yacht based in Airlie Beach Qld.
Private owner and charter use cruising Fiji, North Qld, Papua New Guinea & South Pacific. Managing acrew of seven. Delivery of the yacht from Airlie Beach to the The Boatworks, Gold Coast over 5 days. Managed the refit over a period of 3 weeks.

M/Y ‘ASTRALIUM’ LOWLAND, 105ft, 178GT & 86 ft SUNSEEKER
1st Feb 2024 – 10th Aug 2024:
Captain - Multiple seasonal Mediterranean based commands,
ASTRALIUM - Managed under Mini ISM. This position started in Rodriguez Shipyard, Golfe Juan with 2 lengthy owner trips from Antibes, France to Pisa, Italy. Working with yacht management companies to oversee smooth and efficient yacht operations. Encompassing financial management & technical maintenance alongside the engineer. Crew recruitment, training & administration. Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. SUNSEEKER - Delivered from Sicily back to it base in Nice, France. Completed 3 successful lengthy charters in the South of France including Monaco.

M/Y ‘SHIRLEY ANNE’, 125 ft. NQEA 237 GT
Jan 2008 - Feb 2024 (16 years): Captain & Operations Manager
I managed the yacht's operations with a crew of seven, navigating Sydney Harbour—Australia’s largest and busiest—and undertaking extensive cruising along the country’s East Coast. I have maintained a strong relationship with the owners and family. During my time with this yacht, i successfully managed a 45-week refit, totalling $12 million. The refit was conducted under DNV survey requirements:
-Hull/swim platform extension and hull plate replacement.
-Full engine room rebuild (asbestos found)
-Main engine rebuilds.Installation and commissioning of (2) new generators
-Brand new teak decking and full paint job
-Installation of an updated Bridge Console (which I designed) with a new ‘Seatouch’ yacht management system.
-Installation of a new Crestron A.V. system. Purchase of a new tender
